The J. H. Newman Cultural Centre will host an event entitled “What is mortal man that You care for him? A dialogue about human dignity and the meaning of suffering” in St Wilfrid’s Hall at the Oratory on Monday 3rd June at 7pm. This will be a dialogue between two Catholic friends who deeply care about the value of life, and the meaning of suffering: Paolo Carozza, Professor of Law at the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, and Fr Vincent Nagle of the Priestly Fraternity of the Missionaries of St Charles Borromeo, who is a chaplain to the Maddalena Grassi Foundation, who assists people at the moment of death. All welcome.
