DESCRIPTION:Come to Me all you who labour and are overburdened\, and I will give you rest. An Advent Retreat for Healthcare professionals\, trainees and students.\nSaturday 13th December 2025\, 10:30am.\nOxford University Catholic Chaplaincy \n \nCome to join us for an Advent Retreat. We welcome healthcare professionals\, trainees & students of all ages to come for a retreat in Oxford University Catholic Chaplaincy in the lead up to Christmas. This is an opportunity to reflect on the coming of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ at Christmas\, the One who provides us with rest when we are weary and feeling overburdened by all the worries and stresses of daily life. \nThe retreat will be led by Fr Joseph Evans\, a Catholic priest and a member of Opus Dei. Fr Joe has worked as a journalist and a youth worker and is currently the chaplain of Grandpont House\, a university centre in Oxford. He has a doctorate in Biblical Theology and is author of the poetry collection “When God hides”. He is lead coordinator and a preacher for ‘10 minutes with Jesus’ (found on all major platforms) and many of his own audio meditations can be heard on Spotify or other platforms by searching for ‘Joseph Evans Into the Deep’ \nWe only have 40 spaces on the retreat\, so do register ASAP to guarantee your place.
